The Role of HR in
Supporting Digital Transformation

The continuous automation of work and the digital disruption of businesses pose significant new challenges for organisations as they seek to transform their strategies for a digital age. This puts pressure on leaders to create a vision and on HR to manage change and frame it positively.

However, most change efforts fail. They fail because businesses are unable to adapt to change. Estimates vary, but failure rates range from 60 to 80 per cent, and for digital transformation, the chances of success are even lower. The impact of new technologies and a new way of working requires a complete organisational, cultural and mindset shift. This applies to processes, but most importantly, to people.

What role does HR play when it comes to supporting digital transformation? To address this, ADP is hosting an exclusive executive briefing to discuss the impact of digital transformation on the business and the people strategies and tools needed to be able to drive a successful change. The meeting is keynoted by Oliver Leisse and Thomas Herrmann, Director Sales Enterprise at ADP.

During this Executive Briefing, we will explore digital disruption and the impact on culture, process and people. We will look at experiences of multinational companies who have undertaken successful digital transformation journeys to meet the challenges of the business and provide proven HR strategies, methodologies and insights on how to prepare your people, process and data for the future. Topics include:

  • HR strategies, methodologies, tools and skills required to drive digital transformation across the organisation successfully
  • HR as an enabler of digital transformation
  • Creating and nurturing a digital corporate culture to unleash potential and innovation
  • Using digital to engage and inspire talent and teams
  • New ways of working - going back to more traditional career paths with more flexible working environments and hours to increase productivity, improve employee work-life balance and lowering stress levels.
  • Technology and tools – automation, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things.
  • The HR transformation needed to cope with the trends while remaining compliant, having workforce visibility and ensuring operational effectiveness
